She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Naldo; her daughter Minerva; her grandson Xavier; her parents, Fortunato Kakilala and Visitacion Kakilala; and her siblings, Dr. Tomas, Fortunato Jr., Cecilio, Clara Kilayko, Paulita Javier, Rosalia Kakilala and Reina.
She is survived by: her children, Sofia Portia, Maria Filipinas (Paul Fontelo), Rey (Rosie), Semper Fidelis and Jose Jr. (Juliet C.); her grandchildren, Alexandra Kastelic (Darren), Melanie and Christopher Naldo (Caroline); and her children, Cassandra Hamilton (Hosi Simon), Ian Hamilton (Sheena), John-Paul Fontelo, Marie Christine Pagnotta (Matthew), Paul Vincent Fontelo, Judy DelDuca (Richard), Jacob and Joseph Naldo (Gabby). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 9201 Kentsdale Dr, Potomac, MD 20854. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906).
Memorial contributions can be made to a fund for assistance for the medical needs of indigent children in Bacolod, Negros Occidental, Philippines to be established later.
