It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dana Denker Semmes of Potomac, Maryland, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on March 9, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jane Gurley Denker and Dr. David Denker; her husband Guy Hopkins Semmes of Potomac; her children, Charlotte Semmes of Hudson, NY and Benedict Semmes of Houston, TX; her siblings, Joel Denker of Washington, DC and Cornelia Emlen of Calais, VT; and her grandchildren, Penelope and Francis.
