She was predeceased by: her parents, William Queen and Susie Queen (Savoy); her husband William Collins; her siblings, John Queen (Jimmy), Wilberta Swann-Freeland, Annie Burton, Louise Proctor, Isadora Proctor, Naomi Proctor, Catherine Proctor, Cecelia Young and Delores Buster; her sons-in-law, Eugene Blake, Curtis Lightfoot and Ernest Thompson; her grandson-in-law Wayne Proctor; and her great grandchild William.
She is survived by: her close friend James Matthews; her children, Agnes Witcher, Cora Thompson, Paul Collins, Rose Carroll, Michael Collins, John Collins and Frederick Witcher; her daughters-in-law, Moon Jung Collins and Monique Collins; her grandchildren, Gwendolyn, William (Kimberly), Jennifer, Diana, Mohammed (Tara), Valerie, Alisha, Steven, Danielle, Jessica, Katrina and Bruce; her great grandchildren, Kayla (Michael), Xavier, Keishon, Jahaad, Raheem, Jaheem, Anthony, Taeshawn, Deanna, Jonathan, Kareem, Alacia, Alijah, Aiden, Adrian, Keiston, Sophia, Cameron, Jayden, Layla, Aaliyah, Alivia, Amari and Teira; her great great grandchildren, Dakari, Avianna, Kalani and Kamari; her sister Dollie Reeves; and her siblings-in-law, Wilbert Young and Mary Jane Collins (Queen). She is also survived by the eighth child of 12 in her family, nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (410 St. Mary's Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at the St. Catherine's Catholic Church Cemetery (7865 Port Tobacco Rd, Port Tobacco, MD 20677).
