With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ellis Hensley of Port Republic, Maryland, who passed away on November 17, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tanzel and Mary Hazel Hall Hensley; and his son Ronald Gene Hensley. He is survived by: his wife Bessie Hensley; his children, Robert Hensley of Port Republic, Paul Hensley of Port Republic, Hazel Alvey (Daniel) of Prince Frederick, MD and Wanda Elliott (Chuck) of Mississippi; his sisters, Madeline Larson (Ron), Phyllis Kenn and Brenda Oliver of Virginia; and his sisters-in-law, Maryann Hensley and Laurie Hensley of West Virginia. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
