He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Heather; his children, Charlie Jr., Madison, Mariah and Wyatt; his parents, Carole Modlin and Tim Modlin; his grandmother Ella Irene McDaniel; his parents-in-law, Becky and Andy Sievert; his siblings-in-law, Rachel Travis (Stevie), Alayna Sievert and Glenn Williams; his grandmother Bonnie Jean Turner; his nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Izzie, Anthony, Aubrey, Charlee, Cailynn, Trinity, Trenton and Brock; and his friends, Keith, Serenity Helwig, Rusty (Chop) and Jessica Helwig.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home-Port Republic (4405 Broomes Island Rd, Port Republic, MD 20676). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Life Church- Prince Frederick (3170 German Chapel Rd, Prince Frederick, MD 20678).
