He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Colgan and Catherine Nevins Colgan; his wife Margaret Lindner Colgan; his siblings, Edward Colgan, Clem Colgan, Catherine Colgan Dougherty and Joan Colgan; his siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Fila Colgan, Pat Glynn and George Lindner; and his grandchildren, Margaret, Catherine Colgan Feeney and Christopher John Feeney.
He is survived by: his sister Marie Colgan Osborn (William); his sisters-in-law, Catherine Lindner Glynn and Judy Lindner; his children, Chris Colgan (Beth) and Kimberley Colgan (Chookie); his grandchildren, Lindsay, Allison, Johnny, Maeve and Duncan; and his goddaughter Lori Martin Shiflett.
