He was predeceased by: his siblings, Roger Hawkins, Cecil Hawkins, Mary Frances Garrett and Shirley Turner. He is survived by: his children, James Hawkins Jr. (Carrie), William Hawkins (Randi), Angela Ickes, Dorothy Aul and Dawn Parsons; his sisters, Betty Mays and Linda Lennon; and his pet Chedder. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
