He was predeceased by: his parents, James Grisham Welch and Lillian L. Welch (Melton). He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Eva Welch; his sons, Michael L. Welch (Pamela) and Norman D. Welch (Marilyn); his grandchildren, Renee Rinck (Brian), James Welch, Linda Gehman (Matthew), Peter Welch and Karen Glerum (Steve); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Brilyn and William; his great grandchildren, Eliana, Katelyn and Clara; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Welch and David Gordon (Mona). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
