She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Jacobs and Ollie Faber Jacobs; her husband James Leonard Jackson; and her siblings, Genevieve J. Clement of Blythedale, MD, Elizabeth Wiley of Holly Ranch, TX and Ralph E. Jacobs of Atlanta, GA..
She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Newman Harvey (Dale) of Takoma Park, MD and Edward Jackson (Diana) of Oakton, VA; her grandchildren, Eric J. Newman (Cecilia) of Washington, D. C., Laura S. Newman (Humberto) of Gaithersburg, MD, William E. Jackson (Michelle) of Aldie, VA and Hermie Jackson of Richmond, VA; and her sister-in-law Esther M. Johnson of Port Deposit, MD.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
