It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Richard Taylor of Port Deposit, Maryland, born in Lonaconing, Maryland, who passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Otis and Elsie Sharpe Taylor; and his sister Virginia Rexrode. He is survived by: his wife Carol Taylor; his children, Alan Richard "Rick" Taylor, Jr. (Ann) of Conway, SC, Charles Norman Burnett Jr. (Michael Short) of Coral Springs, FL and Melissa "Missy" Lea Dicochea (Efrem "Dico); his grandchildren, Alan R. Taylor III, Michael Dwight Taylor, Amanda Marie Garrido and Ashtin Kasey Dicochea; his brothers, Roland Taylor and Ronnie Taylor; and his sons, P. A., P. O. Box and Perryville, MD. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
