We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2024, at the age of 71, Tyrone Bernard Jackson (Poolesville, Maryland), born in Frederick, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace W. Johnson and Charles R. Jackson; his stepfather Nicholas Johnson; his siblings, Antonio Jackson and Cynthia Johnson; his brothers-in-law, Warren Johnson and Raymond Prather; his stepbrother Ernest Cooper, Jr.; his uncle Thomas Wade Jackson; his nephew Dewey Barnes; his cousins, Thomas Wade Jackson, Jr. and Sean Jackson; and his stepsisters, Joan Selby, Jacqueline Ashton and Donna Johnson.

He is survived by: his son Tyrone "TJ" Gray (Toni Opalski); his grandson Deshaun Opalski; his siblings, Judy "Diane" Barnes, Iris "Maxine" Prather, Portia Jackson, Jerome Jackson (Yasmin), Andre Johnson (Kim) and Charles Delauder; his stepsiblings, Barbara Crutchfield, Joyce Smalley, Frederica Sneade, Renita Talley, Dyane Johnson, Steve Cooper and Eric Johnson; and his great-aunts, Ethel Honemond and Juanita Honemond. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Poolesville Baptist Church (17550 W Willard Rd, Poolesville, MD 20837).
