He was predeceased by: his wife Dorthy "Dot" Remp; his parents, Vincent Remp and Anna Mularski; and his sibling Gunny. He is survived by: his son Richard R. Remp (Carol); his grandchildren, Richard R. "Rick" Remp Jr. (Jennifer) and Donna Remp Hopkins (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Justin Kersey, Alexandra Kersey, Katelyn Remp and Sarah Remp.
