He is survived by: his father Thomas Raymond; his wife Ruth Ann; his children, Thomas Albert Joseph Hughes (Maida Lynn Hughes) of Olney, MD and Kelly Ann Hughes of Columbia, MD; his grandson Peter Thomas Hughes; and his sisters, Katherine Ann Hughes of Summerville, SC and Linda (Bobby).
