He was predeceased by: his wife Katheryn (Breeden); his son George David; his parents, Paul Hillard and Margaret Burdette; his stepfather Lawrence Burdette; his siblings, John Burdette, Sr. and Evelyn Bower; his son-in-law Peter Menke; and his brothers-in-law, Jimmy Bryan and Jack Shannon.
He is survived by: his son-in-law David; his friend Allen; his daughters, Katheryn "Kathy" (David Jeffers), Diane (Robert Taylor), Betty Lou (Greg Nichols), Patty Menke of Barnesville, MD and Elizabeth Hillard of Poolesville, MD; his grandchildren, Rob Taylor, Meredith Menke (Dave Coker), Melissa Morrow, Crystal Kampf (Jason), Dan Taylor (Marissa), Jason Nichols (Aimee), Brian Jeffers (Beth), Craig Gaddis, Jaimee Hammerman (Jeremy), Samantha Drake (Richard), Jordan Domalik (Doug) and Isabella Lawbaugh; his siblings, Jane Bryan of Rockville, MD and James Burdette (Nina) of Mercersburg, PA; and his brother-in-law Cliff Bower of Dawsonville, MD.. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.
