It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Arthur Wheeler of Pomfret, Maryland, born in Bel Alton, Maryland, who passed away on January 8, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude Wheeler; and his children, Velma Barnes, Marcia Farrar, Lisa Wheeler and William Wheeler II.
He is survived by: his brother Joseph Melvin Wheeler (Arnetter); his children, Patrick Smoot, Patricia Smoot, Shelva Redd (Reggie) and Robert Wheeler (Shelly); and his grandchildren, Cedric Wheeler, Davon Andrews, Marcus Barnes and Reema Wheeler. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins, and other relatives and friends.
