He is survived by: his daughter Diana T. McNeal; his sister Jewel Lewis; his grandchildren, Antuanette Vega, Tiffany McNeal, Michael McNeal and Lyndsey McNeal; his great grandchildren, Kaleya Collins, Jayana Collins, Jacolbie Collins, Coran Johnson, Pierre Williams, Channing Ogburn, BreAuna McNeal, SaiNai McNeal, Michael McNeal, Jr. and Mykel Ballard; his son Francis Savoy; his brother Kenneth Ford; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Diggs, Gayle Thomas and Richard Diggs.
