She is survived by: her children, Theodore Mitchell (Ted) and Dr. Beatrice Lynne Damali; her grandchildren, Tamika Chase, Lakeya Stewart (Daniel), Brandon Grier, Al'Leceya Lofton and D'Eryka Foster (Ron); her great grandchildren, Christina, Carson, Courtney, Stewart, Bijeaux, Beaux Grier, Dalilah, Rhylee and Cohen Foster; her daughters, Gloria Simms (Kenneth) and Christina (Kenneth Simms, Jr.); her great grandchildren, Janiaya, Dylan and Amari Simms; her son Joseph Chase (Tabatha); her granddaughter Azelia Chase; her friends, Janice Carpenter, Reeder Carroll and Reverend Emma Curry; her pet Cooks Mitchell; and also Gloria Savoy.
