She was predeceased by: her parents, George Estep and Glydon Estep; her grandparents, James and Viola Marshall; her husband Louis; her sisters, Ann Marie, Sharon and Linda Estep; her brothers-in-law, Byron Andrews and William Makle; her nephews, Rydell Hawkins, Darnell Estep and Aaron Toye; her niece LaTasha Estep; and her grandson Corey Dyson.
She is survived by: her children, Tara (Artis), Dean (Diane), Dana, John (Cindy), Lynda (Butch), Denitra (Gary), Dashell (Stephen), Derick (Vickee), Louis (Kita), Jason and Mashawn (Jerome); her grandchildren, Devon, Brandy, Brandon, Kathy, Briana, Cameron, Jasmine, Ava, Damontae, Julius, Airiana, Laylana, Ashton, Faith, Kai, Kenisha, Karlie, Karlos, Tre, Charlie and Johan; her siblings, Ellen Hawkins, Sheila Estep-Andrews, Marilyn, Jackie Estep, Cindy Cole, George "Sam" Estep (Cheryl), Edwin "Mutt" Estep (Diane), Jerome "Jerry" Estep and Earl Estep (Edna); and her siblings-in-law, Ida Makle and Henry Brawner (Mary). She is also survived by other relatives, cousins and friends.
