She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Powell and Viola Powell; and her husband Clarence L. White, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Charles, Sr. (Tanya), Clarence, Jr. (JoAnn), Norman (Anita) and Vlan (Vivian); her grandchildren, Tamara, Charles, Jr. (Cassandra), Taliaferro (Danielle), Courtney (Jamis) and Candace; and her great grandchildren, Michelle, Jason, Aryana and Jaxson.
She was a member of the American Cancer Society, Business and Professional Women's Foundation and a proud member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
