She was predeceased by: her husband Elton L. Parks; her parents, William Jennings Evans and Eunice Evans Parks Murray; her daughter Donna Parks Marshall; and her sisters, Janice Crockett and Annabelle Evans.

She is survived by: her granddaughters, Angela P. Terrell (Eugene) of Georgia and Robin Haymoor (Nabil) of Oregon; her great grandchild Ashley Colson of Washington; and her cousin Mary Lee Moore of Tangier.
