It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald Lee Payne of Pocomoke City, Maryland, born in Crisfield, Maryland, who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry L. Payne and Doris Mae Howard Payne; and his former wife Rosemary Hurley Payne. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Anne "Dot" Williams Payne of Pocomoke City; his daughters, April Porter (Chris) of Pocomoke City and Joy Adkins (Bobby) of Westover; his siblings, Harry L. Payne, Jr. (Debbie) of Stockton, Elaine Powell of Salisbury and Louise Kurek (Tom) of Ohio; his grandchildren, Jennifer Howard (Adam), Justin Porter (Ivan), Shelby Collins and Daniel Collins; and his great grandchildren, Brayden Howard, Crew Howard and Carrington Collins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
