We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2023, at the age of 85, Nancy Lee Newsome (Pocomoke City, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Melvin Matthews and Mamie Matthews; her husband Edgar Newsome; her son Michael Newsome; her grandchildren, Rachel Carmean (Ben Carmean), Katherine Maguire, Shawn East, Derrick East, Lacy Hudson, Troy Waidner Jr., Mya Bridges, Amanda Daisey, Coty Newsome and Michael Newsome II; and her siblings, Roland Matthews and Carolyn Rayfield. She was also cherished by great-grandchildren.
