He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodward C. Merrill and Sallie Goffigon Merrill; his wife Vivian C. Lewis Merrill; his stepdaughter Artie Jo Lewis Leaman; his siblings, Henry G. Merrill, Julia B. Merrill Wilkins and Laura H. Merrill Fletcher; and his nephews, Charles H. Wilkins and Thomas W. Wilkins.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Suzanne Lewis Crews of Charleston; his nephew Robley J. Fletcher, Jr. (Justine); and his nieces, Sarah K. Fletcher Bingman (Rick), Nancy E. Fletcher Bisker, Gloria D. Wilkins (Charles) and Beverly T. Wilkins (Thomas). He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holloway Funeral Home- Pocomoke City (107 Vine St, Pocomoke City, MD 21851). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
