She was predeceased by: her mother Helen Hansbury; her husband A. Eugene "Gene" Wise; her daughter Barbara Jo Roach; her sister Gloria Jean Burns; and her stepfathers, George Martin and Millard Hansbury.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Joseph Matthews (Susan) and Cowanda Matthews; and her grandsons, Kelly, Charles Jr. and Joshua.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Goodwill Baptist Church, 3824 Stockton Road, Pocomoke City, MD, or your local SPCA and/or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
