He is survived by: his wife Ruth Harper Hensley; his children, Joyce Hensley Blevins (Robert Blevins) and Gordon Wesley Hensley (Sharon Reese); his granddaughters, Rachel Blevins Harris (Melvin Harris), Rebecca Blevins, Stephanie Blevins Dize (Derek Dize), Sarah Hensley (Robby Taylor) and Lauren Hensley; his great grandchildren, Elianna Beier (Rebecca), Haley, Jacob Harris (Rachel) and Jaqueline Taylor (Sarah); and his siblings, Eugene F. Hensley, Sylvia Knight, Gladys Utsinger, Ellen Lunsford and Joan Brookover. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews other special family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Pocomoke City.
