He was predeceased by: his son Brandon Collick; his grandparents, Roscoe, Margaret Cottingham, Wilbert and Doris Hall; and his father-in-law Paul Whaley.
He is survived by: his mother Jeanette; his wife Sandra Lee Merrill; his children, Quivel Whaley, Rayshean Smith, Orneviano Whaley, Mortesha Dennis, Charney Merrill, Elisha Merrill, Chalontae Merrill and Franjari Smith; his sisters, Lendora Bonneville (George) and Belinda Cropper (Sewell); his uncles, Leonard Merrill, Antonio Hall, Willie Cottingham and Clark Bell; and his mother-in-law Ethel Whaley. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
