He is survived by: his mother-in-law Genevieve Horst; his sons, Donald, Calvin and John Douglas; his wife Catherine Malin; his daughters, Heidi (Paul Hewitt) of Philadelphia, Diane Daniels (Lee) and Krista of Pocomoke; his brother J. D. Kurtz; his grandchildren, Sarah Daniels Klabe (Jeffrey), Gracie Daniels Ramirez (Danny), Noah Daniels, Julian Wilson, Phoebe Wilson, James Hewitt and William Hewitt; and his great grandchild Emilia Gene Ramirez.
