It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Mae Byrd of Pocomoke City, Maryland, born in Florence, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Leonard Olson; her husband Cornelius Ames Byrd of Pocomoke City; her children, Vianna Susan Pusey and Leonard Nathan Byrd; her brothers, Leonard, Raymond and Richard Olson; and her brothers-in-law, George Jones and Richard Klempke.
She is survived by: her children, David S. Byrd (Peggy), Alan A. Byrd (Cindy), Keri Ann Byrd Foster and Nellie Ruth Aspel (Mike); her son-in-law Daniel Pusey; her grandchildren, Jodi Holloman (Brian), Juli Bradford (Mark), Spencer Byrd (Mia), Michael Byrd Amy (Shannon), Samuel Byrd (Heather), Trever Pusey (Leanna), Dylan Pusey and Houston Burnette; her great grandchildren, Josie, Jordyn, Morgan, Maci, Evan, Lennox, Aemon, Leander, Jack, Benjamin, Olivia, Charlotte, Vianna, Adda, Taya, Chloe and Connor; her sisters, Barbara Jones and Jackie Klempke; her sisters-in-law, Gloria Olson and Renata Olson; her nieces, Cheryl Marshall (CL), Nicole Anderson, Danielle Simpkins (Chris) and Traci Parker (Phil); and her nephew Chris Hall (Stephanie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
To continue Donna's lifetime of giving, she donated her body to the Maryland Anatomy Board. In lieu of flowers, Donna requested that donations be sent to either Lynnhaven Baptist.
