It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia Marie Blake of Pocomoke City, Maryland, who passed away on May 27, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Paige Conquest, Sr.; and her siblings, Jesse, Robert, Samuel, Vernon Cropper, Ricky Conquest, Mildred Cropper and Althea Waters.
She is survived by: her mother Grace Mary Drummond of Pocomoke, Maryland; her children, Yolanda Pettit (Samuel) of Pocomoke, Corey Deshields (Linda) of Bear, Kimberly Deshields of Pocomoke and Terrance Ewell of Pocomoke, Maryland; her grandchildren, Eric Ward, Jr., Niasia Drummond, Dimarise, Jameer, Corey, Jr., Sy'air Deshields, Isis Davis, Tymera Deshields, Adrian Marshall and Jaleel Ewell; her great grandchildren, Parker and Seniya Deshields; her siblings, Kenneth Drummond (Lovely) of Laurel, Lucius Brown (Tara) of Wilmington, Greg Conquest of Salisbury, Ivan Conquest (Sandy) of Salisbury, Willis Conquest of Georgetown, Paige Conquest, Jr. of Pocomoke, Maryland and Juanita Holden of Pocomoke; her siblings-in-law, Lana Cropper of Wilmington and Cornell Waters, Sr. of New Castle, Delaware; and her close friends, Deani Taylor and Brenda Marshall. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.
The pandemic would cause her to retire early.
