She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Pilchard and Ethelyne Payne Pilchard; her husband Richard "Dick" Owen Thompson; her daughter Lynn Blevins; her son-in-law Curtis "Curt" Dennis; and her great grandchildren, Steven Payne and Riley Weeks.
She is survived by: her daughter Bonnie Dennis of Pocomoke City; and her sister Corie Callahan of Crisfield. She is also survived by six grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
