She was predeceased by: her parents, Omar McAllister and Natalie Marshall McAllister; her husband Robert Lee "Bob" Hawkins, Sr.; and her siblings, Geraldine, Ann and Bobby.
She is survived by: her children, Carol S. Smith, Debbie Hickman (Bill), Rev. Robert Lee Hawkins Jr. (Linda) and Bryan Hawkins; her grandchildren, Chris Small (Tracy), Bryan Hickman (Hillary), Brent Hickman (Kasey), Brett Hawkins (Gina), Angie Bunting (Heath) and Lisa Skinner; and her brother Kenneth McAllister. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
