We are sad to announce that on May 8, 2024, at the age of 100, Beatrice L. Jones of Pocomoke City, Maryland passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Beatrice L. Jones to pay them a last tribute.

Though Beatrice may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Beatrice touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Dickerson and Hetty Byrd Dickerson; her husband James S. Jones, Sr.; and her daughters, Vanessa B. Jones and Sandra D. Nock.

She is survived by: her sons, James S. Jones, Jr., Darnell E. Jones (Helena), Steven A. Jones (Alice) and Troy D. Jones. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 31 great-great grandchildren; four nieces; six nephews; several cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
