He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Collins and Frances Morris Collins; his brother David Collins; his sister-in-law Joyce Collins; and his father-in-law Robert Rhodes.
He is survived by: his wife Terri Rhodes Collins; his children, William O. Collins Jr. (Billy), Caitlin Brady (Thomas) of Dagsboro and Bobbie Lee Pleasanton (Bob) of Fenwick Island; his grandson Adin Collins of Georgetown; his mother-in-law Shirley Rhodes of Pittsville; and his siblings, Patricia Holden of Bridgeville, Richard Collins (Renee) of Laurel and Alvin Collins Jr. (Donna) of Georgetown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
