He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Mae and Lemuel Ward Collins. He is survived by: his siblings, Lemuel, Ira, Bill, Frank, Lloyd, Elbert, Ward Jr., Charles, Betty, Ethel, Faye, Aida, Beatrice and Achsah; his wife Patricia Gordy; his daughters, Dana and Randa (John); and his grandchildren, Kevin (Amanda) and Taylor (Alan). He is also survived by sister.
