With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester U Wootten of Pittsville, Maryland, born in Salisbury, Maryland, who passed away on February 15, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry W. Wootten and Walsie Wootten; and his brother Farrell Wootten. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Wootten; his children, Dana Yates (Brian) and Lester Dean Wootten; his grandchildren, Andrew Yates and Kelsey Wootten; his great grandchild Wren Herpel; his stepgrandchildren, Gabriel Rincon, Brynn Yates and Lydia Yates; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Liechty (Sandy), Gerald Liechty (Barb) and Karen Thaw. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ayres United Methodist Church or the Pittsville Vol.
