She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Ardis and Nadia Ardis (Strickland); her brother Tommy Ardis; and her son Anthony Scott Trischler. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Simkins; her children, William "Billy" Simkins (Teresa) of Pittsville, Kelli Hamill (Fred) of Pittsville and Robert A. Simkins of Parsonsburg; her grandchildren, Christopher, Cheyenne, Gage, Kenzi, Chase, Kelsie, Kayla and Aiden; and her siblings, Trudi Hedges of Parsonsburg, Joi Daubach of Salisbury and Grant Ardis of Salisbury.
