She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Hammond and Mary Hammond (Smack); her husband Robert Lee Cooper; and her sister Norma K. Bradley. She is survived by: her children, Edgar W. "Eddie" Cooper of Pittsville, MD and Linda Lee Calhoun of West Jefferson, NC; and her sister Shirley Tull of Whaleyville, MD. She is also survived by four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
