It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert J. Adkins of Pittsville, Maryland, born in Snow Hill, Maryland, who passed away on August 25, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Albert may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Tilghman Adkins and Arthur William Adkins; his wife Madeline Lewis Adkins; and his brother Arthur Adkins Jr. of Beltsville, Maryland.. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Adkins of Farmville, Virginia and James Adkins; his daughter-in-law Debra of Beckley; and his grandchildren, Alice Adkins, Chance Adkins and Maggie Beth Adkins.
