She was predeceased by: her husband Franklin Horowitz; her sister Frances Vaughan; and her parents, Saul Silverman and Pearl Silverman. She is survived by: her sister Shirley Elliot; and her nieces and nephews, Frances Vaughan, Martha Vaughan, Judith Vaughan-Prather, William Vaughan, Benjamin Vaughan, Deborah Vaughan and Michael Elliot.
