She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Ritter; her parents, Elizabeth Petty and Robert Petty; and her siblings, Zephya Bennett, James Petty, Hoyle Petty and Nora Shook.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Ritter (Katie), Robin Duszynski (Rick) and Bradley Ritter (Nancy); her brother Robert Petty (Frances); her grandchildren, Jeffrey McAdory (Taly), Robert Ritter, Rebecca Moore (Joe), Andrew Ritter, Zachary Ritter, Gabe Ritter (Emma) and Ben Ritter (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Ezra and Lucas; and her children, Leora and Joseph. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
