He is survived by: his children, Pat Herling (Brad), Francine Schaftel, Ira Jachman (Rita), Randy Jachman (Judi) and Mindy Fang (David); his grandchildren, Tracey Mahanti, Amanda Shapiro (Bradley), Noah Schaftel, Cody Schaftel, Taylor Jachman, Blake Jachman, Zachary Fang (Margaret) and Alex Fang (Jordan); and his great grandchildren, Bharat, Bradford Mahanti, Riley and Lincoln Shapiro.
