She was predeceased by: her husband Milton Elfenbein; her son-in-law George Kruger; her brother-in-law Ervin Miller; her parents, Frank Kurland and Beatrice Kurland; and her stepmother Irene Kurland.

She is survived by: her children, Rich Elfenbein (Samantha Yon) and Brenda Kruger; her sisters, Marcia Kurland Miller and Anne Schimberg (Len); her stepsister Robin Puritz; and her grandchildren, Maya Kruger, Jaclyn Kruger, David Elfenbein and Hannah Elfenbein.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sol Levinson's Chapel (8900 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208). A shiva was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 6:00 PM. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at the Oheb Shalom Memorial Park (430 Berrymans Ln, Reisterstown, MD 21136).
