She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Barrash; her daughter Gloria Salkin; her siblings, Dr. Leonard J. Abramovitz, Norman Brahms and Grace Abramovitz; and her parents, Dr. Morris Abramovitz and Pauline Abramovitz.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Barrash (Jerry Newton) and Barbara Monfried (late William); her grandchildren, Scott Levenson, Jeremy Helfand (Amber), Melinda Stankowski (Robert) and Elyse Carignano (Andrew); and her great grandchildren, Alexandra, Kennedy, Palmer, Maya, Regan, Morgan, Logan and Lauren.
