Eleanor L. Chernikoff Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eleanor L. Chernikoff (Pikesville, Maryland), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Eleanor left this world on December 3, 2024 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Chernikoff; her brothers-in-law, Herbert Caplan, Stanley Cissell and Howard Saval; and her parents, Samuel Yaffe and Florence Yaffe.

She is survived by: her children, Rochelle Wenick (David), Allan Chernikoff (Peggy), Larry Chernikoff (Kenneth Coleman) and Iris Berman (Neil); her sisters, Roslyn Caplan, Gloria Cissell and Sheila Saval; and her caregivers, Donna Campbell and Doreen Boyd. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Sol Levinson's Chapel (8900 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208). A shiva was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 8:00 PM and on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 9:00 AM.
