It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Ira Kafes of Pikesville, Maryland, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Kafes and Larry Kafes. He is survived by: his significant other Leslie Goldman; his children, David Kafes (Suzi), Steven Kafes, Jeff Goldman (Kathryn) and Amy Weintraub; and his grandchildren, Ben Weintraub, Zach Weintraub, Jordi Weintraub, Alya Goldman and Darren Goldman.
