She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert Shofer; her parents, Ida Herondorf and Harry Herondorf; and her siblings, Ruth Wohl, Alyce Levine, Dinah Friedman and Harvey Herendorf.

She is survived by: her children, Frances Shofer (Michael Zyla), Henry Shofer (Ann), Jane Shofer (Steve McKinney) and Marjorie Shofer (Chuck Walley); and her grandchildren, Katie, Andrew and Lexy Shofer.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sol Levinson's Chapel (8900 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208). A shiva was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ruth's Chris Steak House (1777 Reisterstown Rd, Pikesville, MD 21208).
