It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Debra Fran Shavitz of Pikesville, Maryland, who passed away on January 12, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sister Sherrie Steel; and her parents, Shirlee Dinkin and Sidney Dinkin. She is survived by: her husband Michael Shavitz; her daughter Lauren Stern; her nephew Jason Steel (Jenny); her niece Jennifer Steel (Elizabeth); and her stepsons, Jared Shavitz (Sasha) and Brian Shavitz (Nancy). She is also survived by four step-grandchildren.
