She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Neuberger and Ferdinand Neuberger; her brother Henry Neuberger; and her husband Sidney Thanhouser Jr. (Buddy). She is survived by: her children, Dr. Sally Thanhouser and Sidney Thanhouser (Pete); and her grandchildren, Maxwell Thanhouser (Mary Beth) and Carly Thanhouser (Jacob Haspiel). She is also survived by her five great-grandchildren.
