She was predeceased by: her husband Tolbert Kronthal; her brothers, Joseph Schnaper (Lenore) and Sheldon "Sheiky" Schnaper (Elaine); and her parents, Rose Schnaper and Aaron Schnaper.

She is survived by: her children, Lauri Malin (late Joey), Nancy Shapiro (Howard), Sindi Summerfield (Marc) and David Kronthal (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Ari Blitz (Isabelle), Erin Blitz, Samuel Strum (Laken), Rachel Strum, Jordan Summerfield, Ali Glazer (Kyle), Bradley Kronthal (Allison), Spencer Kronthal (Noa) and Sydney Kronthal; and her great grandchildren, Emilia Blitz, Lyla Strum, Blake Glazer and Gracie Kronthal.
