He was predeceased by: his siblings, Alex, Elpidio and Nimfa Dematera. He is survived by: his wife Clara Dematera; his children, Ryan Vincent and Gretchen (Gregg Knudsen); his grandchild Andrea Dematera Knudsen; and his brother Wilfredo Dematera. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
