In the sacred silence of farewell, Nicasio is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Alex, Elpidio and Nimfa Dematera. He is survived by: his wife Clara Dematera; his children, Ryan Vincent and Gretchen (Gregg Knudsen); his grandchild Andrea Dematera Knudsen; and his brother Wilfredo Dematera. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc. (1050 York Rd, Towson, MD 21204). A rosary was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (13305 Long Green Pike, Hydes, MD 21082).
